ZenBlockk writes about money, technology and risk, so readers deserve to know how our articles are produced and what standards we hold ourselves to. This page describes that process. If you find something on the site that falls short of it, please tell us through the contact page.
What we publish, and what we refuse to publish
We publish explanatory journalism and practical guides: how a technology works, what a term means, what the trade-offs are, what the risks are and what the rules say. We do not publish price predictions, buy or sell recommendations, trading signals, “guaranteed return” claims, presale promotion, referral-driven coin reviews or anything that presents cryptocurrency as a shortcut to wealth. If an article cannot be written without implying a financial recommendation, we do not write it.
How an article is produced
- Topic selection. We prioritise questions readers actually ask, submitted through the contact form or identified from search behaviour, over whatever happens to be trending.
- Research. We work from primary material wherever possible: protocol documentation, white papers, published on-chain data, regulator and tax-authority publications, and official project repositories. Secondary commentary is used for context, not as a substitute for a source.
- Drafting. Articles are written to be understandable without prior technical knowledge. Jargon is defined the first time it appears.
- Review. Before publication each article is checked for factual accuracy, for internal consistency with what we have written elsewhere, and for any wording that could read as investment advice.
- Publication. Every article shows an author and a date so you can judge how current it is.
Accuracy, corrections and updates
Crypto changes quickly, and some of what is accurate today will not be accurate in a year. We revisit our evergreen guides periodically and update figures, rules and examples that have gone stale. When we correct a factual error, we change the article and note what was corrected rather than quietly deleting it. If you spot a mistake, send it to us and we will look at it — reader corrections are welcome and we would rather be told than be wrong.
Sources and linking
Where a claim depends on a specific document, dataset or regulation, we link to it so you can verify it yourself. We do not link to a source we have not read, and we do not link out in exchange for payment.
Advertising and independence
The site is funded by display advertising. Advertisers have no influence over what we cover or what we conclude, they do not see articles before publication, and advertising slots are visually separated and labelled so they cannot be mistaken for editorial content. We do not publish sponsored posts, paid reviews or guest articles placed for link-building purposes. If we ever use an affiliate link, it will be disclosed in the article itself.
